Russian Drama Theatre was best at "Veselaya Kulisa" Festival in Ufa

UFA, 28 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The International Theatre Day was celebrated with a traditional event - the "Veselaya Kulisa" Festival in Ufa. The 17th republican festival of theatre skits gathered representatives of seven theatres of the republic. Actors treated the spectators with cabbage pies made by them and joked on topical issues. The People's Artist of Bashkortostan Almas Amirov and the members of the Surprise Quartet were the hosts.

The jury headed by the People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Airat Akhmetshin determined the best. The company of the Russian Drama Theatre became the winner of the "Veselaya Kulisa". The second prize was awarded to the team of the Sterlitamak Russian Drama Theatre. The third place was won by the Bashkir troupe of the M. Karim National Youth Theatre. The special prize was presented to the actress of the Russian troupe National Youth Theatre Svetlana Bronnikova and the company of the Ufa Theatre for Young Audiences.

The organizer of the festival was the Union of Union of Theatre Professionals of Bashkortostan.
