Bashkir dancers can take part in "Musical East" Contest

UFA, 28 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Bashkir dance groups can take part in the "Musical East" contest. The dance contest will be held in Moscow at the "Stimul" cultural centre on April 15. Performers from Eastern countries and republics from Egypt to Japan (all Asia), aged 12 to 35, will perform at the contest. No more than three performers (or three dance groups) are invited from one state (republic). The jury consists of teachers and specialists in oriental musical art: the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow University of Culture.

The Moscow International Musical "Musical East" was established with the aim of developing and strengthening friendly and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the East. The competition is held with the support of the State Duma, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rosmolodezh, Moscow Government, Moscow State University, Radio East.
