New film about Rudolf Nureyev will be shown for free in Moscow

UFA, 15 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In Moscow, a presentation of a full-length documentary film about the little-known period of life of our compatriot, the greatest dancer and choreographer of the 20th century Rudolf Nureyev will take place. The presentation is organized by the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation. The plot of the film is connected with Turkey, where the dancer wanted to have his own house, his island. The film was awarded a special Prize of the Guild of Film Critics "White Elephant-2017".

The film includes interviews with people who have communicated closely with Rudolf Nureyev, as well as video from previously hidden archives. It allows you to follow the artist's life until his last years. The detailed information about the film can be found on "VKontakte" page.

The free screening will be held at the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation on Saturday, March 18, at 5 pm at 6 Dobroslobodskaya Street, building 2 (Baumanskaya metro station), the spokesman for the Office informed.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, earlier the film was shown in the Central House of Cinematographers.
