Singer Alfiya Karimova will perform at native Bashkir Opera stage

UFA, 13 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Alfiya Karimova (Kazakhstan) will sing the primary aria in the "La Traviata" opera by G. Verdi at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre. On March 20, the leading soloist of the "Astana Opera" theatre, the Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan will please her fans with performance of the role that she considers a pinnacle in her creative career.

"La Traviata" is a performance with which I graduated from the Ufa Academy of Arts, sang it in various theatres. I performed the Violetta’s aria at auditions in Astana Opera too", Alfiya Karimova recalls.

Alfred Germont will be performed by the laureate of international competitions Artem Golubev, Georges Germont by the Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan Vladimir Kopytov. The Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan Artem Makarov will be the conductor.

Alfiya Karimova's previous performance at her home stage took place in Gilda's party in the "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi almost a year ago, on April 15, 2016.

Alfiya Karimova is a laureate of numerous international competitions. Among her awards is the prestigious "The Opera Ball Award" (nomination "Best Female Voice"). The singer performs in theatres of Belgium, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Russia and the USA, participates in the international festival "Opera Nights" (Spain), works in the jury of international competitions and conducts pedagogical activity.
