"Petersburg Seasons" Festival will be held in Ufa for the first time

UFA, 15 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On March 1-3, Ufa for the first time will host the "Petersburg Seasons. 2017". Ballet stars of the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theatres will take part in them. Lectures about art related to the Russian Museum, modern jazz improvisational art are scheduled as part of the events.

"St. Petersburg is known as one of the world's cultural capitals. The best theatres, the great art galleries and museums of St. Petersburg - all this attracts art lovers around the world. This city concentrates the best masters of musical theatre, the most advanced achievements of art, the leading musical trends. Three meetings with representatives of the cultural elite will be held as part of the "Petersburg Seasons"", said the organizer of the event - the director of "Klassika" concert agency Galiya Kamaeva.

On March 1, an exhibition of St. Petersburg artists and a meeting with the head of the Department of Contemporary Art of the Russian Museum, Honoured Artist of Russia Alexander Borovsky will be opened at the M.V. Nesterov Bashkir State Art Museum.

On March 2, the Chaliapin Concert Hall will feature a jazz trio concert: Vyacheslav Gaivoronsky (trumpet, solo), Andrey Kondakov (piano, percussion), Vladimir Volkov (double bass). Each of the participants is a renowned virtuoso, master of improvisation and a brilliant composer.

On March 3, the "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall will host a gala concert with participation of ballet soloists of the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theatres in St. Petersburg.
