Bashkiria will receive about 35 million rubles to support theatres

UFA, 1 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkortostan will receive more than 34.8 million rubles to support creative activities of theatres. The corresponding decree was signed by the Government Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

This year, 56 Russian regions will receive 670 million rubles of subsidies to support creative activities of municipal theatres, the official website of the Russian Government informs.

The funds are intended to co-finance expenditures of regions associated with creative activities support and strengthening infrastructure of municipal theatres in cities with a population less than 300 thousand people, the report informs.

The decision will enable to create additional conditions for improving the state support system in the field of culture and arts and implementation of municipal cultural institutions support programs by the federal entities.

The subsidies are provided under the "Development of Culture and Tourism" state program for 2013-2020.
