"Discover Bashkortostan" photo exhibition in Moscow "Metro" Gallery will run for one month more

UFA, 23 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The Moscow "Metro" Gallery at Vystavochnaya station continues to host the "Discover Bashkortostan" photo exhibition, which brought together the most picturesque images of photographers from six countries - Russia, Italy, India, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkey. It opened on December 20 last year, and was accompanied by a spectacular hour-and-a-half ethnic music concert "Kurai Celebration" performed by the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments RB and the "Argymak" ethno-rock band from Ufa. The event became a part of a bright two-day presentation of the tourist potential of our republic in Moscow.
The photo exhibition was organized by the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation, the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism RB and the Bashkir Branch of the Union of Photographers of Russia supported by the Bashkortostan regional branch of "United Russia" party.
"The exhibition was very much liked by Muscovites; during the school holidays groups of schoolchildren visited it. It had also many visitors from among the representatives of the tourist business and business just interested in developing cooperation with Bashkortostan. Foreign visitors were also guests of the exhibition. Considering all these circumstances, we have asked the leadership of the Moscow subway to extend the exhibition until February 20, although it had to be closed on January 20", said the head of the press centre of the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Bashkortostan in Moscow Gulchachak Hannanova.
The Moscow subway leadership met the request, and now all those who could not attend the exhibition "Discover Bashkortostan", have an opportunity to visit it for one more month. The "Metro" Gallery’s working hours are from 06.00 a.m. till 01.00 a.m.
