Bolshoi Theatre "Sleeping Beauty" ballet will be broadcast simultaneously in 39 cities of Russia

UFA, 18 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The "Sleeping Beauty" ballet by Bolshoi Theatre choreographed by the legendary choreographer Yuri Grigorovich will be simultaneously live broadcast in 50 cinemas of 39 cities in Russia. In Ufa the "Rodina" cinema will screen a performance in the Blue Hall at 20.00 on January 22. The ballet soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre Olga Smirnova, Semen Chudin, Yulia Stepanova are starring.

The shows will be held in the framework of the "TheatreHD" project, according to the CoolConnections art association. On February 25, screenings will start in the cities, where due to the time zones live broadcast is unavailable. Total the ballet will be shown in 105 cinemas of 60 cities of Russia.

The "Sleeping Beauty" by P.I. Tchaikovsky on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault is one of the masterpieces of classical ballet. In Ufa, the performance can be seen at the Bashkir Theatre of Opera and Ballet choreographed by Shamil Teregulov, the closest show is on February 2.
