"Iremel 2016" photo contest exhibition opens in Ufa

UFA, 22 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Ufa Centre of Contemporary Art "Oblaka" hosts an exhibition of "Iremel 2016" photo contest. On December 22, on the eve of the Year of Ecology a final part of the photo contest will be held at "Oblaka" Centre, which participants are professionals and photography enthusiasts.

The jury selected 50 best pictures for the exhibition. Of the more than 400 works by 70 authors in the nominations "Iremel - Four Seasons" and "Tourist Iremel - a Source of Health" 150 photos were qualified for the online voting. As a result of this the Audience Award was received by Reseda Husaenova. The winner in the "Iremel - Four Seasons" nomination became Igor Koshkin (Uchaly). The second place went to Vladimir Lyalin (Ufa), the third – to Roman Ganeev (Ufa).

The winner in the "Tourist Iremel - a Source of Health" nomination was Georgy Lazarev (Miass, Chelyabinsk Region). The second place was taken by photographer Hadi Navid from Iran with "Miss Iremel" work. The jury gave the third place to Vadim Madiyarov (Mishkino village, Bashkortostan). The special prize of the "Panorama of Bashkortostan" magazine was awarded to Ruslan Kurmaev.

The "Iremel-2016" contest is a result of long term cooperation of "Rosa Vetrov Ufa" LLC, Bashkir Branch of the Union of Photographers of Russia, the republican cinema and photo club "Agidel". The event was supported by Bashkortostan State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism and Ufa administration.

Iremel Mountain is a popular tourist centre of the Ural region. In the last decade the "Iremel" Natural Park was annually visited by over 15 thousand organized tourists.
