Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre has prepared New Year program

UFA, 22 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre has prepared a New Year's program for Ufa townspeople and visitors of the city.

Traditionally several shows of "Nutcracker" ballet by Tchaikovsky will be held. Morning performances are scheduled for December 25 and 31, as well as January 4 and 8, preceded by the festive New Year children’s parties. This year, the ballet Parade is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Grigorovich, who staged in the Ufa theatre seven performances.

The young viewers are waited for at "The Bremen Town Musicians" musical by G. Gladkov on January 3 and "The Birthday of Leopold Cat" by B. Saveliev on January 6. The musical fairy tale "The Crystal Slipper, or The Tale of Cinderella" by A. Spadavekkia will be shown on January 5.

The "Silva" operetta by I. Kalman on January 5, the "Cinderella" ballet-extravaganza by S. Prokofiev on January 6 and the "Swan Lake" ballet by P. Tchaikovsky on January 10 will enrich festive evenings for the fans of music. The New Year's program will be closed with a gala concert "Old New Year" on January 13, 2017, which will feature New Year hits from operas, operettas and ballets, as well as the hits performed by the leading soloists of opera and ballet ensembles, chorus and the symphonic orchestra of the theatre.
