Most successful journalists were announced at Ufa Press Ball 2016

UFA, 16 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Yesterday the names of the most successful journalists were announced at Ufa Press Ball. The traditional event summed up the results of 2016. It was attended by representatives of the federal, republican and regional mass-media, corporate editions, members of the press services of ministries and departments, leading enterprises and companies of the region. Winners in different sectors were identified, as well as "Journalist of the Year" was named. Zuhra Arsaeva, the employee of "Yuldash" radio station became the winner.

Olga Goryunova from "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" won the award in the "Economy and Finance" nomination, editor in chief of "Rampa. Culture of Bashkortostan" Igor Tonkonogy - in the "Culture and Art" nomination. Svetlana Istomina from the "Arguments and Facts" newspaper won in the "Health and Ecology" nomination, Galina Tryaskina from "Bashkortostan Republic" - in the "Social Protection" nomination.

Bashinform News Agency journalists were awarded two prizes. The Economics Department reporter Galina Bakhshiyeva received a diploma and a prize from BESK company for energy sector topics coverage. The literary editor of "i-gazeta" Eugeniya Syutkina was awarded by the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society for her contribution to the strengthening of relations between the media and non-governmental environmental organizations.

The Press Ball has been held for more than 10 years and during that time moved beyond the limits of only journalistic event. The organizers are the Agency for Press and Mass Media RB and LLC "Image Consultant". This year, organizing and holding of this bright holiday for journalists was assisted by JSC BESK.
