Bashkir Opera soloist Dilyara Idrisova became winner of Onegin Opera National Award

The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre soloist, the laureate of international, national and open republican competitions Dilyara Idrisova became the winner the First Onegin Opera National Award in the "Debut" nomination. The award was a pleasant surprise for her, Dilyara admits.

Winners of the Onegin Award in 12 categories were announced yesterday at a gala awards ceremony at Alexandrinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. The gala was attended by Mexican tenor Jesus Leon, the soloist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre Natalya Petrozhitskaya, Vladimir Galuzin, Natalia Timchenko.

22 opera and musical theatres of Russia took part in the competitive selection of the Onegin Award. The Expert Council conducted auditions of more than 40 performances, which premiered in September 2015 and September 2016. The main award was a bronze figurine of Eugene Onegin.
