World-famous Kopelman Quartet will perform in Ufa with single concert

UFA, 8 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On November 9, the stage of the Chaliapin Concert Hall of Ufa State Institute of Arts will host a concert of the famous Kopelman Quartet. Ufa audience will listen to compositions by S.Prokofiev, D.Shostakovich, I. Haydn, K. Penderecki.

The organizers of the concert are the "Art-Ufa" Cultural and Educational Centre with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan.

"In May 2016 we became co-organizers of the Vladimir Spivakov First International Violin Competition, where Mikhail Kopelman was the chairman of the jury. Today Ufa already meets Michael Kopelman and his quartet as the outstanding performers. We are pleased that we were able to organize this concert. We hope that in the future we will be able to please the citizens of our republic with new, vibrant, cultural projects", said the chairman of the "Art-Ufa" Vasily Peganov.

On November 5, during their visit the quartet musicians held professional master classes for students of the Ufa Institute of Arts.

Currently Kopelman Quartet is considered one of the best quartets of the world. Since its creation the team actively tours and gives concerts in the UK, Spain, Austria, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Canada and Russia.
