Bashkir Opera Theatre is nominated for "Golden Mask" at once in five categories

UFA, 2 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Nominees of the "Golden Mask" Award in the 2015-2016 theatre season became known. Information appeared on the official website of the main Russian theatre prize. The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre is presented in five categories.

In the category opera/performance two new theatre productions are nominated - "Hercules" and "The Maid of Orleans".

The work of the chief conductor of the Bashkir Opera Artem Makarov in "Hercules" Opera also claims for the prestigious award.

For a victory in the category opera/women's role two contenders will compete - the soloist of the Perm Theatre Nadezhda Babintseva for Johanna role in the "The Maid of Orleans" by Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre and Dilara Idrisova for lole role in the "Hercules" opera.

The decision to nominate for the award is made by the expert council after watching the performance. Recall that the Bashkir theatre performances have been recently presented in Moscow.
