"Ufa Heritage" cultural and historical ethnic complex may appear by Bashkortostan’s 100th anniversary

UFA, 24 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The "Ufa Heritage" cultural and historical ethnic complex may appear in the city by the 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan. Active townspeople propose to establish it on the basis of the preserved historic buildings along the Oktyabrskaya Revolyutsia Street, making a large part of the tour route. They filed a collective initiative to the Head of the Republic where asked to include the "Heritage Ufa" ethnic complex in the list of 100 priority investment projects. Among them there are known architects, state expertise experts, historians, journalists and artists.

The "Ufa Heritage" ethnic complex infrastructure will include pedestrian zones and bike paths. The renovated buildings will accommodate museums. "Here, in the course of the year it will be possible to spend holidays, festivals, to welcome foreign delegations and guests interested in the places where our great countrymen lived and worked. These are Rudolf Nureyev and Feodor Chaliapin, writers Sergey Aksakov, Sergey Dovlatov, Andrei Platonov, artists Mikhail Nesterov and David Burliuk, and other figures of science, culture and art. This will make Ufa even more interesting and attractive for tourists and townspeople", the authors of the project believe.
