German Grammy holders will perform in Ufa - Trio Bamberg

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Holders of the German Grammy Award - Trio Bamberg will arrive in Ufa. On November 8, the musicians from Germany will perform with the National Symphony Orchestra RB at the Bashkortostan Concert Hall.

The first part of the concert will feature the Triple Concerto for Piano, Violin and Cello by Beethoven. In the second part the orchestra will perform one of the most famous symphonies by Beethoven - "Eroica". The chief conductor of the orchestra Raushan Yakupov will be at the podium. The Trio Bamberg was founded in 1994 in Stuttgart by the Russian violinist Jewgeni Schuk and his German colleagues - pianist Robert Benz and cellist Stefan Gerlinghaus. The ensemble is one of the best contemporary chamber music ensembles in Europe. Since then, the composition of the team has changed. The permanent ensemble member Jewgeni Schuk, one of the most famous cellists of Europe Alexander Hülshoff and pianist Ilonka Heilingloh will arrive in Ufa.

The Trio Bamberg’s tours are going over the cities of Germany as well as Brussels, Barcelona, Bergen, Ljubljana, Naples, Osaka, Shanghai, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, cities of South Africa, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Norway and South America. The trio is regularly invited at well-known festivals, including in Schleswig-Holstein, Echternach, Rheingau and Bonn. Their records of works by Shostakovich and Schnittke were awarded the German Grammy Award.
