Picture by Ufa photographer Raif Badykov claims for "The Most Beautiful Country" contest winner

The renowned photographer Raif Badykov from Ufa became one of the finalists of the Russian Geographical Society’s contest "The Most Beautiful Country". Of the 200 selected pictures his photo "Mother Earth", made during a trip to Zianchurino District of Bashkortostan, has become one of the best. Overall, more than 110 thousand works were sent to the contest.

According to the regulations of the competition, a photo that gets the most number of votes will get the victory in the category "People's Choice Award". It is possible to vote for Raif Badykov on the RGS website. The work is in the "Gallery" section, the "The Most Beautiful Country. Landscape" nomination.

Since 1983 and till today Raif Badykov works as a photographer for the "Bashkortostan" republican newspaper. He is a member of the Union of Photographers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, a member of the Union of Journalists RB. Raif Badykov is the Honoured Worker of Culture of Russia and RB, winner of the. Sh Hudayberdin Prize. He is included in the list of the best photographers of Russia.
