Classics lovers are invited to Theatre Night in Opera in Ufa

UFA, 26 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre invites Ufa residents and the city visitors at the Big Hall. Here, the "Milky Way" concert will begin at 20.00 on September 27. The program involves a symphony orchestra of the theatre and opera soloists. The conductor is the Honoured Art Worker of Bashkortostan Marat Akhmet-Zaripov. Excerpts from favourite operas and ballets, arias and duets from operas and operettas will be performed: Overture to the opera by Georges Bizet's "Carmen", the famous Habanera and Toreador couplets, waltz by Johann Strauss "On the Beautiful Blue Danube ", the orchestral excerpts from the ballets of Peter Tchaikovsky's" The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake", "Sleeping Beauty", arias and duets from operettas of Imre Kalman "Silva" and "The Circus Princess".

The honoured artists of Russia Rail Kuchukov, Ruslan Khabibullin, honoured artists of Bashkortostan Larisa Akhmetova and Alim Kayumov, a representative of the youngest generation of the company Gulnara Valieva will take part in the concert.

The history of the republican first national musical theatre, its first soloists and current achievements will be told at the Theatre Museum on the ground floor. On the first floor, visitors of the Rudolf Nureyev’s museum will be able to learn the story of life and work of our great countryman, recognized dance genius of the 20th century.
