Askar Abdrazakov will sing in "Prince Igor" opera at Chaliapin Opera Nights Festival in Ufa

UFA, 21 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Today, the single Russian opera will be shown within the framework of the 15th International Chaliapin Opera Nights Festival. The "Prince Igor" by Alexander Borodin is especially interesting due to participation of the People's Artist of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov as Konchak. During the day the singer as the chairman of the jury of the International Chaliapin Vocal Competition will listen to performances of the participants of the first round. On September 21 and 22, they will sing arias, romances and folk songs accompanied by piano in the Chaliapin Hall.
The "Prince Igor" will feature two soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre: Igor Svyatoslavovich - Eden Umer, Vladimir Igorevich - Dmitry Voropaev. The Ufa native Olga Terentyeva representing Moscow Novaya Opera Theatre will play the role of Yaroslavna. Prince Galitsky will be performed by the young bass, the lead singer of the Ufa and Astana theatres, Chaliapin competition participant Arthur Kaipkulov.
