"TEFI-Region" TV Contest winners will be first announced in Ufa

UFA, 13 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The winners of the "TEFI-Region" All-Russia Television Contest will be announced in Ufa. The final stage of the prestigious television contest will be held in Bashkortostan for the first time. The co-organizer is the branch of VGTRK (All-Russian State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) - "Bashkortostan" Broadcasting Company. Besides, the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov supported holding the finals in Ufa.

It is expected that journalists from 83 regions will gather in Ufa. This time a record number of works - more than 500 were submitted for the contest by 167 broadcasters from 83 cities. Of these, more than 300 were submitted in the "Educational and Entertainment Television" category, 211 - in the "News Broadcast" category. The most active participants were Omsk and Ufa representatives. The winners will be presented 21 awards - statuettes by Ernst Neizvestny. The filmmaker Andrei Konchalovsky and poet Andrei Dementiev are invited at the award ceremony in Ufa.

This year the "Bashkortostan" Broadcasting Company sent a record number of works for the "TEFI-Region". Among the candidates for the "TEFI -region" award there is a team of the "Culture" regional channel, its project tells about the beauty and mysteries of our republic.

The "TEFI-Region" All-Russia Television Contest is 15 years old. The purpose of the contest is to promote the most significant works and professionals of the regional Russian TV.
