Ufa Philharmonic Society and M.V. Nesterov Museum start "Dialogue with Art" joint project

UFA, 6 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir State Philharmonic Society and the M.V. Nesterov Museum start a new joint project "Dialogue with Art". The first concert "Christianity in Art" will be held in the Organ Philharmonic Hall on September 8 at 19.00.

The curator and project leader, the Honoured Worker of Culture RB, musicologist Victoria Simonova will present to the viewers the world of artistic and musical images. The art critic of M.V. Nesterov Museum, senior researcher and restorer of the old Russian paintings Anna Hardina is responsible for the visual series of works from the museum collection accompanying the live music.

This evening the Ufa organist, Honoured Artist RB Elvira Khairutdinova will play. The music by I.S. Bach, V.A. Mozart, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, C. Franck, Ch. Gounod will be performed. Visuals will include canvases by L. Backhuysen, A. Gines, P. Jogin, I. Aivazovsky, M. Nesterov and others, as well as icon-painting works.

On October 14, the Variety and Jazz Orchestra headed by the Honoured Artist of RB Oleg Kasimov will be featured in tandem with M.V. Nesterov Museum. On March 23 a concert will be held in conjunction with the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments RB. On April 12 the music and art series will be completed with a performance of the State Academic Choir RB led by Alsu Khasbiullina.
