Applications for participation in Open Amateur Film Festival are accepted in Ufa

UFA, 18 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Ufa, applications for participation in the Open City Amateur Film Festival are continued to be accepted. The festival is held in the framework of the Russian Cinema Year.

The Festival unites film fans who can creatively reflect in their works history, everyday life, events and achievements of the city of Ufa. Citizens of all ages and creative associations of the city are invited to participation in the event.

The Film Festival aims at supporting and promoting amateur cinema, creating a platform for dialogue and exchange of experience between the authors of amateur and professional films, supporting film enthusiasts, authors and creative people, as well as creating videos about the city, its people and traditions.

Among the nominations of the Ufa Film Festival are - "My Favourite City", "Urban History", "Land and People". This nomination is divided into the categories: "popular science film", "documentary", "short films" and "report".

Entries are accepted until October 30.
