Young pianist from Bashkiria conquered Spain audience

UFA, 12 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. A schoolboy from Bashkortostan Artem Khakimov successfully performed at the International competition of classical music and songs in Spain «Música del mar» (Sea Music). The competition is one of the largest in Europe.

The main program was held in the central church of Sant Roma Lloret de Mar, and then contestants moved to Tossa de Mar to take part in a gala concert, where they performed in the castle-fortress of the 12th century Villa Vella.

The jury included prominent European musicians and experts in the field of instrumental music and vocals, art and culture professionals from Spain, France, Canada and the countries of Eastern Europe and Asia. Also the talents were assessed by the president of the biggest festival movement in Europe Fiestalonia Milenio David Japaridze.

As a result of the competition Artem Khakimov was awarded the 2nd degree prize winner and was given a silver diploma. The young musician studies at the Children's Art School No.1 of Meleuz region. A letter of thanks from the organizers of Fiestalonia Milenio and the City Hall of Lloret de Mar will be received by Artem teacher - Almira Smakaeva.
