Ufa Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will present a new musical based on Pushkin’s famous tale

UFA, 6 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Bashkir State Philharmonic in the new concert season will present the "The Tale of the Sleeping Princess and Seven Knights" musical on the famous fairy-tale by A.S. Pushkin. The premiere is scheduled for September 29, "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall.

According to the press service of the Philharmonic Society, the author of the idea and the director is Ilshat Fahertdinov, music written by Vladimir Kalle and Yevgeny Lapeiko. The staging team includes Alexander Rodionov (director and choreographer), Ramiz Mukhametshin (choreographer), costumes artist Karlygash Zaurbekov, choirmaster Alexander Alexeyev, designer Svetlana Muhametgareeva, the 3D-graphics designer Milyausha Zaripova; Oleg Zhdanov, Ramil Agishev Edward Islamov (arrangement). The roles will be performed by actors of Bashkir State Philharmonic Society.

Now rehearsals of the musical are carried out, the scenery and costumes are created.

Last year, the Philharmonic Society opened 77th season with the musical "The Scarlet Flower" on the fairy tale by Sergei Aksakov, which was a culmination of the traditional Aksakov Festival.
