Cultural program is prepared for Pushkin’s birthday in Ufa

UFA, 6 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Today, the Pushkin Day is celebrated in the Russian Federation. In Ufa, a cultural program is prepared on the day of the great poet.

In the Mazhit Gafuri Memorial House-Museum - a branch of the National Literary Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan the exhibition "The Poet’s Journey" will re-open its doors. The exposition is dedicated to the trip of A.S. Pushkin, which he made in the autumn of 1833 over the Pugachev’s rebellion places. The exhibition presents works of four the most famous illustrators of the "The Captain's Daughter" novel and the "History of Pugachev" - P.Sokolov, A. Benoit, B.Kozhin, S. Gerasimov.

Also on June 6, the Vatan Ethnic Park (Ufa amphitheatre) will host a poetry evening. It will feature Ufa poets Aidar Khusainov, Alexander Zalesov, Alexey Krivosheev, Galarina, Alia Gainatullina and others. Beginning is at 17.00.

The National Library will carry out a literary-musical saloon. Beginning is at 18.00.

The "Gallery of Pushkin's Heroes" art-campaign dedicated to the birthday of the great poet is planned in Pushkin Alley. Ufa residents will see performances of tales by Alexander Pushkin in the genres of European street theatre.
