"Heart of Eurasia" final concert began with countertenor and ended with ethno-rock

UFA, 30 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The International Festival of Arts "Heart of Eurasia" came to an end in Ufa amphitheatre. For five days, the project gathered daily round tables, and every night brought together many thousands of inhabitants and visitors of the Bashkir capital at open air concerts. According to the organizers, the number of visitors of Ufa amphitheatre has exceeded 50 thousand people these days.
A gala-concert of the festival consisted of several parts, each of which was associated with one of the nights –Symphony Night, Movie Night and Etno Night. Classic music, jazz, ethnic music and rock were combined representing variety of musical styles and directions. Nearly the whole evening the pop-jazz orchestra of the Bashkir Philharmonic Society under the baton of Oleg Kasimov was on the stage.
Several surprises were prepared for the public in the final program. For the first time Marsel Sabirov, the finalist of "Voice 3. Children" sang "Jamaica" for so many of his countrymen and Masha Mirova, the semifinalist of "Voice 2. Children" sang the song "Fly".
Many viewers were impressed by the performance of the Azerbaijani countertenor Ilham Nazarov, who performed compositions of the baroque repertoire. But the most unusual was an act combining orchestra, "Argymak" ethno-rock band and "Russkie Uzory" folklore ensemble of the Arkhangelsk region and "Milyash" ensemble from Abzelilovo region.
The St. Petersburg "Alena" band was invited as the headliner of the gala concert, which performed several ethno-rock songs. The show was ended with a final song and fireworks behind the stage of the amphitheatre.
The large-scale "Heart of Eurasia" Arts Festival was held at the expense of two grants - federal and republican ones.
