"Night of Museums" was attended by over 65 thousand people in Bashkiria

UFA, 23 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Bashkortostan, the "Night of Museums" was attended by over 65 thousand people. The popular event was held from 21 to 22 May and it results were summed up by the Ministry of Culture RB.

The "Night of Museums-2016" covered 23 state and 62 municipal museums, 13 museums at cultural and leisure and library facilities, Postal Museum (Ufa), "Oblaka" Centre for Contemporary Art, "Intellektus" interactive museum of entertaining science, "Alice in Sciences" interactive exhibition of the Polytechnic museum and the "Forest Embassy" zoo.

Traditionally, the "Night of Museums" was opened at the Postal Museum, which is located at Ufa Post Office building. Here a presentation of a special postmark dedicated to the "Night of Museums", with a picture of the building of the National Museum of Bashkortostan took place.

For the first time in the "Night of Museums 2016" a quest "Collect the Film" was held in Ufa, which brought together the National Museum of Bashkortostan, Bashkir State Art Museum named after M.V. Nesterov, National Museum of Military Glory and the National Literature Museum RB. The quest was attended by 552 people, 156 became winners and were awarded with certificates for free entrance to any of the four museums.

The main Art Museum of the republic - the M.V. Nesterov’s Museum hosted the Interregional Exhibition of Omsk artists "Visits", the exhibition "Realist Painters of the Twentieth Century ", an exhibition of the People's Artist RB Zufar Gayanov "My Revelations".

The singer and composer Artur Bulatov, the choir of church music "Zhemchuzhina", the "Bely Voron" band, the "Ufa Ethno Drums" band, vocalist and guitarist Leonid Shvetsov and "Groimovye Koty" rock band gave performances at the museum.
