Bashkirs organized historical reenactment during Leipzig Museums Night

UFA, 25 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Leipzig (Germany) hosted the Night of Museums, during which citizens and visitors were able to access all the city's museums free of charge. The Museum of Association "1813" dealing with the reconstruction of the Battle of the Peoples in 1813 with participation of five Bashkir regiments also took part in it. Traditionally, Bashkirs living in Leipzig - filmmaker Nasur Yurushbaev and Irek Baishev took an active part in the Museums Night.

The museum presented a video about Bashkir warriors created by Nasur Yurushbaev especially for the Museums Night. Bashkir soldiers organized archery for kids. Guests enjoyed famous Bashkir camp soup cooked by Nasur.

According to our compatriots, a Cossack from Moscow Tatiana Hubl joined the ranks of Bashkir detachment. "In October, at the regular reenactments, there will be more of us. Even though we will speak different languages, but we will stand under the banner of Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan", said Nasur Yurushbaev.
