"Ufa-Lada. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" festival featured a fashion show of "Sekhra" oriental clothing in Ufa

UFA, 4 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Ufa exhibition complex VDNKH-EXPO hosted a traditional festival "Ufa-Ladya. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs". The festival has become a real celebration of arts and crafts. At the opening of the festival residents and guests of the Bashkir capital were presented new collections of clothes by Ufa knitting factory and "Agidel" art enterprise.

The fashion show was organized by the Ufa model Elvira Ishmuratova with her studio "Stikhia" supported by "Barbie Club" and "Jewel Models". 16 looks of the "Sekhra" oriental collection, several summer looks and a collection created in collaboration with Vyacheslav Zaitsev were shown to the audience for the first time. The original collection combined ethnics and modernity, oriental motifs with current trends. Particular attention was drawn to the collection of original wedding gowns. For the first time collections were prepared specially for standard and plus-size models. Leila Aralbaeva, the culture section reporter of Bashinform News Agency took part in the catwalk show.

Elvira Ishmuratova is a model and organizer of art projects in the field of fashion, one of the first in the republic, who promoted plus-size models. She participated in national and international beauty contests, she runs her own dance school and studio for women and girls - "Stikhia".
