Bashkir ballet goes on European tour

UFA, 29 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The ballet company of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre goes on tour over Europe on March 3. Within two months artists will visit more than two dozen cities in France, including Paris, Orleans, Nice, as well as Belgium and Luxembourg, the press service of the theatre informs.

The audience will see a masterpiece of the Russian ballet art - "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky staged by the outstanding contemporary choreographer Yuri Grigorovich. In this edition, besides the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the famous performance is given only on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre and the Krasnodar Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

According to the art director of the ballet company Leonora Kuvatova, the coming tours will be large and intense. For two months the artists will perform the "Swan Lake" about 60 times.
