Craftsmen and folk artists will meet in Ufa

UFA, 20 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The large-scale event – 3rd Festival "Ufa-Ladya. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" is planned to be held in Ufa. For three days, from March 2 to 4, "VDNKh-Expo" will host masters continuing the tradition of folk crafts, amateur artists from all over the country. The festival will be interactive: open workshops on lace-making, patchwork, pottery, folk dolls manufacturing, wood carving, marquetry, decoupage, painting on fabric are scheduled. Folk artists from the regions of Russia are also invited at the "Ufa- Ladya".

The program of "Ufa- Ladya" includes extensive music program, and interactive festival of national cuisine of the peoples of Bashkortostan.

The State Committee for Trade, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Chamber of Crafts, the Ministry of Industry, Culture and Education, the city authorities are involved in preparing for the festival.
