Works by Ufa artist Svetlana Muhametgareeva will be shown at Russian Culture Week in France

UFA, 15 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Works by the Ufa artist Svetlana Muhametgareeva will be presented in the exhibition project in France. It will be held on January 18-24 in the town of Castelnau-le-Lez in Languedoc Province in the framework of the Russian Culture Week. The event was organized by the Association of the Russian-French Friendship.

The French art lovers will be able to get acquainted with works of several Russians in the Ande Malraux exposition centre. The exhibition will show paintings, icons, drawings and photographs. 12 paintings by Svetlana Muhametgareeva for 2008-2014, which are in the private collection of the city of Montpellier, are prepared for display.

Svetlana Muhametgareeva (Abdyusheva) – is a painter, graphic artist, scene-designer, director at "Bashkortostan" TV and Radio Company. She was born in Ufa and graduated from Ufa College of Arts and Bashkir State Pedagogical University. Since 1991, she participates in republican, national and international projects. In 2011-2013, the artist's solo exhibitions were held in the cities of France. Her works are in private collections in Russia, France, Italy, Austria, Germany and Turkey.
