Ufa International Film Festival "Silver Akbuzat" started from the red carpet and fireworks

UFA, 11 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan hosted the official opening ceremony of the 2nd International Festival of National and Ethnic films "Silver Akbuzat". Celebrities, festival participants from 11 countries and regions of Russia, representatives of the republican cinema industry went on the red carpet to the Congress Hall. In the lobby all participants took photos against the backdrop of colourful film banners.

This year the festival is included in the program of the Eurasian Humanist Forum. Participants and guests of the forum were also invited to the event. Director Rinat Shakiryanov together with the creative team prepared a colourful show. On the globe - the main screen of the scene - cultural attributes of the member-states of Shanghai Cooperation Organization followed each other. China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia - were presented by a choreographic composition.

The opening ceremony was held by the popular TV presenter Fayagul Davletyarova and the Russian theatre and film actor Anatoly Bely. Viewers saw a movie trailer-presentation of participants, got acquainted with the unique culture of the Bashkir people. Ancient kurai was demonstrated by the famous kurai player Robert Yuldashev. Verses from the cult film "Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!" and a moment of silence honoured the memory of the famous film director Eldar Ryazanov, who died a few days ago. The Grand Prix and prizes for works of a script writer, director, operator will be awarded to the winners of the festival in the Congress Hall at the closing ceremony on December 12.

The opening of the festival finished with fireworks on the court in front of the Congress Hall.
