Ufa will light up with fireworks to celebrate "Silver Akbuzat" International Film Festival opening

UFA, 10 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Today, the capital of Bashkortostan will light up with fireworks and laser show. In Ufa, the official opening of the 2nd International Festival of National and Ethnic films "Silver Akbuzat" will take place. Movie stars - special guests, jury members and participants of the festival will go on the red carpet leading to the Congress Hall.

As the head of PR-service of the festical Gauhar Battalova informs, Igor Ugolnikov, the popular showman, actor, producer and Anatoly Bely, the famous theatre and cinema actor have already arrived in Ufa. Meeting with the general producer of the "Battalion" film Igor Ugolnikov will be held today at Ufa Academy of Arts from 15 to 16 o’clock. The leading actress Maria Kozhevnikova, unfortunately, did not manage to come. Members of the international jury started working yesterday – they will have to watch 36 competing films. Recall that all daytime screenings in the Rodina cinema and evening screenings in the House of Actor are free of charge.

The opening ceremony at 19.00 will be a presentation of the festival: its participants representing 10 countries and regions of Russia and the jury under the chairmanship of Turkmen film director, scriptwriter and cameraman Khodjakuli Narliev. The program also includes concert performances featuring the distinctive culture of our republic. Laser show and fireworks are scheduled for 20.45.
