Russian and foreign cinema stars will gather at Silver Akbuzat Festival in Ufa

The 2nd International festival of national and ethnic films "Silver Akbuzat" will begin with a traditional red carpet in front of the Congress Hall, which will host the official opening and closing ceremonies. As reported at a press conference in Bashinform News Agency by the organizers, it is expected arrival of the famous actor and producer Igor Ugolnikov, Russian actors Maria Kozhevnikova, Anatoly Bely and Natalia Gromushkina. The Director of Bashkortostan Film Studio Azamat Huzhahmetov said that the Russian Cinematographers' Union Chairman Nikita Mikhalkov or his deputy may also come.

A co-host of the opening ceremony will be the famous actor Anatoly Bely - he will work in pair with the Bashkir presenter Fayagul Davletyarova. And Natalia Gromushkina will be a co-host of the closing ceremony. Igor Ugolnikov, the general producer of the smashing hit "Battalion" will present it after the opening of the festival in the "Rodina" cinema on December 10.

The international festival jury will be headed by the film director, scriptwriter and cameraman Khodjakuli Narliev (Turkmenistan), and it will also include Davlatnazar Khudonazarov (Tajikistan), film critics Gulbara Tolomusheva (Kyrgyzstan), director and screenwriter Victor Lisakovich and film and theatre actor, film director, screenwriter, producer Vladimir Grammatikov (Russia). The honoured guests of the festival will be the television producer and director Vasily Antipov, Turkmen actress Maya-Gozel Aimedova.

The film festival will take place in Ufa from December 9 to 12. Ten countries presented their film works: Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Estonia, Bangladesh, Armenia, Iran, India, and 11 regions of Russia.
