Charity concert with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ildar Abdrazakov collected more than 30 million rubles in Ufa

UFA, 19 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. A charity concert in Ufa with the participation of opera stars Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ildar Abdrazakov collected more than 30 million rubles for treatment of seriously ill children. As reported on the Rusfond website, the organizers will send 6 million rubles to the charitable and educational foundation "Marhamat", 24 million rubles will be spent on treatment of Rusfond wards.

The concert was held at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre; all tickets for the concert were sold out a month ago. That evening Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ildar Abdrazakov performed arias.

The first charity concert titled "Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Friends to Children" was held last year in Kremlin. Then it was collected 20 million rubles, and a chance for salvation was given to 61 children.

The next concert is scheduled for 2016 at the home of the singer - in Krasnoyarsk.
