TV and Radio Company Bashkortostan will present a film dedicated to "Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Friends to Children" project

On November 18, in the hall of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre before the concert of Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ildar Abdrazakov a premiere of the film by TV and Radio Company Bashkortostan "Music of the Heart" will take place. The ten-minute film focuses on how the famous opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky helps sick children. Last year, Moscow hosted the first charity concert of the "Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Friends to Children" project. Among those who received assistance from the funds raised from the concert there were several tens of Bashkir children – cared by the Funds "Marhamat" and "Rusfond".

"The idea of the film emerged spontaneously. Our journalist and producer Rustem Gabbassov is a friend of Ildar Abdrazakov and traveled to New York at his concert. There he recorded an interview with him and learned that a second concert in support of sick children to be held in Ufa. We decided to support the project and monitor the fate of children - citizens of Bashkortostan, which have already received assistance from the singer. We learned that the necessary medicines and equipment had been already purchased from the funds raised, and there was progress in treatment", said the director of TV and Radio Company Bashkortostan Azamat Salikhov.

The premiere of the film on the TV channel "Russia 1" will be held on Saturday, November 21, in the "Govorit I Pokazyvaet Ufa" program at 8.40. Reportedly, the film will be translated into English and handed over to Dmitri Hvorostovsky. It is planned to broadcast the film at the federal level too.
