Pianist prodigy will perform with National Symphony Orchestra in Ufa

On October 26, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan will perform with Timothy Vladimirov, the pianist prodigy, winner of national and international competitions, diploma winner of the 14th International Television Competition for Young Musicians “The Nutcracker”, scholarship holder of the Head of Bashkortostan, the winner of the mega-project "Gifted Children of Russia", scholarship holder of Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.

The soloist and orchestra will perform one of the most popular compositions of the classical repertoire - Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in C Minor No.2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff. At various times, this composition loved by millions of listeners was performed and recorded by Sergei Rachmaninoff himself, Vladimir Horowitz, Sviatoslav Richter, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Nikolay Petrov.

The program of the second part of the concert includes – the Symphony No. 5 by Sergei Prokofiev. The Honoured Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Bashkortostan, winner of the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" Valery Platonov will conduct the performance. The concert will be held in the "Bashkortostan" concert hall, beginning at 19.00.
