Collection of folk dolls from Bashkiria won the Grand Prix at the All-Russian Festival

UFA, 20 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The collection of folk dolls "Circle of Female Destiny" by Elina Maksyutova won the Grand Prix at the All-Russian festival of folk toys craftsmen. Elina was the sole representative of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the festival, which was held in the city of Lipetsk on October 17-19.

The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture, the final of the festival was preceded by a competitive selection. The final brought together 150 craftsmen from 32 regions. The jury included art critics from the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), professors of leading universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Union of Artists and the Union of Journalists of Russia.
