Applications for national qualifying round of Turkvision-2015 Contest are accepted in Ufa

UFA, 13 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In October, the regional qualifying rounds for the 3rd International TV Song Contest Turkvision-2015 were launched. The contest will bring together artists and pop groups from 25 Turkic-speaking countries and autonomies. Semifinals and finals will be held in Istanbul on December 13-22.

"This year's song contest expands its age range: for the first time children will compete in «Bala Turkvision». In Ufa, applications are accepted in two categories: from 8 to 14 years and from 18 years and older. In the first two qualifying rounds eight adult performers and eight children will be selected", said the official representative of the TNB channel in Bashkortostan, the Honoured Artist of the Republic Aigul Akhmadeeva.

A gala concert and the final stage of the regional Turkvision-2015 will take place at the concert hall "Bashkortostan" on November 11. The information sponsor will be the "Tugan Tel" TV channel, which will broadcast the program.

The purpose of the Turkvision contest is to preserve cultural identity, spiritual essence of the Turkic-speaking peoples in the world environment. The idea of the contest was proposed by the international organization of Turkic culture - TURKSOY. In 2013, the contest was held in Turkey, in 2014 - in Russia (Kazan). It was attended by soloists and groups from Azerbaijan, Altai, Bashkortostan, Gagauzia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Crimea, Macedonia, Turkey, Tatarstan, Khakassia and other countries and republics.
