Philharmonic Society is planning to organize ethno-rock festival in Ufa

UFA, 2 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will organize a large ethno-rock festival. This was announced by the art director Ilshat Fahertdinov. With this view, the Bashkir popular rock band Argymak was invited to work at the Philharmonic Society.

The musicians started to work in September. Tomorrow, on October 3, Argymak together with other artists of Philharmonic Society will perform at the "Yangan-Tau" health resort. On November 29, the band will take part in a solo concert of Catherine Yamshikova "Nightingale".

The Argymak ethno-rock band is a winner of international, national and republican competitions and festivals. It was founded in 2009 on at Ufa State Academy of Arts. The repertoire includes works of different genres of the Bashkir folk and original songs. The ensemble uses sounds of kuray, dumbyra, kubyz, kyl-kubyz, throat singing, combined with guitar, bass and drums, as well as various ethnic instruments of peoples of the world. Argymak often appears in large concert venues in Russia and abroad.
