Bashkortostan Children's Art School received a grand piano from the gold series of the known German firm

UFA, 22 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. A concert grand piano by C. Bechstein Company from Germany was delivered to the Children's Art School No.2 in the city of Oktyabrsky yesterday. The school has received it in the framework of the republican program "Equipping children's art schools with musical instruments", the municipal administration reports.

The rarity relates to the gold series of C. Bechstein Company, in which high-quality materials and manual labour is used at manufacture.

"The instrument is installed in the concert hall of the school and will be used during the performances of the best students of the school, as well as musicians of national and Russian levels", said the director of the music school No.2 Elena Shepeleva.

On September 30, a presentation of a new grand piano will be held at 18.30. The head of the Department of Special Piano, Professor of Ufa Academy of Arts, laureate of international competitions Rustam Shaikhutdinov will play the instrument.

The Carl Bechstein piano factory was founded in Berlin in 1853. The company is still famous for its excellent quality instruments, as one of the best in the world.
