Tonight "Literary Railway Car" will be solemnly welcomed in Ufa

UFA, 18 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Kamil Khasanov/. Today, on September 18, the "Literary Railway Car" will arrive in Ufa at 19.30. Most of the guests of the literary festival "Goryaschaya Gora" (Burning Mountain), which will be held in the republic in the next six days, are coming from Moscow in one car - they are accompanied by journalists interviewing participants of the festival during their way. A solemn meeting will be held at Ufa station.
Among those who will come to Ufa there is a popular young writer, winner of the "Triumph" and "Debut" Prize Alisa Ganieva, whose prose is translated into many European languages. A new generation of writers is represented by Ildar Abuzyarov, the author of several novels published by Moscow publishing houses, the winner of the Pushkin Prize and Valentin Kataev Prize. Among the passengers of the car is the novelist and critic Olga Novikova, who was the editor of Valentin Kataev and Veniamin Kaverin and many other outstanding writers of the second half of the twentieth century. Also the Coordinator of Pushkin Prize Ekaterina Varkan, the Head of the Union of Russian Writers Svetlana Vasilenko, writers Elena Kryukova and Elena Safronova, poets Dmitry Legeza, Pavel Markin and other writers are also arriving by this train. The car following from Moscow includes also writers from St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and other cities.
The next day after arriving in Ufa, the guests will go to the "Yangan-Tau" sanatorium, which will host the opening of the "Burning Mountain" festival. The main activities of the festival will take place in Ufa from Monday to Wednesday: presentations, lectures, round tables, meetings with readers. On Monday, September 21 the main venue will be the VDNkH Expo Centre, and on Tuesday the festival events will continue at Bashkir State Pedagogical University. The "Literary Railway Car" will take away most of the guests back to Moscow on the night of September 23.
