Ufa townspeople are invited to a one-man show "Under the Shadow of the Silver Age"

On September 26, the leading actor of the Russian Drama Theatre Timur Garipov will give a performance for lovers of poetry and songs in the hall of the Bashkir State Art Museum named after M.V. Nesterov. The event will be held within the Year of Literature.

During the one-man show "Under the Shadow of the Silver Age" the actor will read poetry to the guitar and perform songs on poems by great poets - Anna Akhmatova, Alexander Blok, Alexander Vertinsky, Nikolay Gumilev, Osip Mandelstam, Igor Severyanin, George Ivanov, Mikhail Kuzmin.

Timur Garipov is the Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan, winner of the State Prize named after Shaikhzada Babich, Honoured Worker of Culture RB, winner of the "Masters of the Word" competition declared by the Union of Theatre Workers under the motto "The Golden Age of Russian Poetry". Timur Garipov admirers will see a lyrical performance on the background of the masterpieces of Russian painters of the 19-20th centuries, the press service of the museum informs.

The evening starts at 19.00 in the second hall (mansion).
