Ufa Festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites» will be closed with a performance of St. Petersburg violinist Sergey Dogadin

On September 20, the International Festival «Vladimir Spivakov Invites» will be closed with a performance of the talented young violinist from St. Petersburg Sergey Dogadin. He will play the Violin Concerto in E Minor by Felix Mendelssohn.

The soloist will be accompanied by the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov. The orchestra will also feature ballet divertissement from the «Le Cid» Opera by Jules Massenet and Symphony No.5 in E Minor by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The concert starts at 19.00 at the State Concert Hall Bashkortostan.

Sergey Dogadin is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, «New Names» Foundation, the International Foundation of Konstantin Orbelyan, Mozart Society in Dortmund (Germany), winner of the Yuriy Temirkanov Award, A. Petrov Award, Youth Award of the Governor of St. Petersburg, the Russian President's Award. He is the winner of the International Andrea Postaccini Competition (Italy, 2002), the Paganini International Competition (Russia, 2005), the International Competition «ARD» (Germany, 2009), 14th International Tchaikovsky Competition (Russia, 2011).

Sergey Dogadin participated in such major festivals as «Stars of the White Nights», «Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival», «Tivoli Festival», «Crescendo», «Paganini Violins in St. Petersburg», «Musical Olympus», «Autumn Festival in Baden-Baden». He was honoured to play the Paganini’s and Strauss’s violins. Currently he plays an instrument by Italian master Giovanni Battista Gvadanini 1758.

The «Vladimir Spivakov Invites» International Festival will be held at the State Concert Hall «Bashkortostan» at the support of the Head of the Republic in Ufa on September 18-20. The festival is organized by the International Charitable Foundation of Vladimir Spivakov in Bashkortostan with the support of the Ministry of Culture RF, Ministry of Culture RB and Ufa administration.
