Ufa residents are invited at "My Planet. Terre des Hommes" Travel Festival

UFA, 18 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa, in the "Rodina" cinema a Travel Documentaries Festival "My Planet. Terre des Hommes" will take place from August 28 to 31.

The festival program includes four documentaries about travels shot in the most remote parts of the world: the film of the "My Planet" presenter Vladimir Roshchin "Gold Rush". Madness in Guyana" will tell about the search for gold in the wild South American country, the host of "Dogs Planet" Grigory Manev in the film "In one team" will feature participation in one of the world's toughest sled dog races in Kamchatka "Beringia". Also, travel fans will see a unique shooting in the open space by the Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko in the film "Five Thousand Times Around the World," and the beauty and grandeur of the Russian North in the film "Russian Atlantis of the North".

According to the Directorate of Culture and the Arts of Ufa Administration, viewers will be able to see not only film premieres, but also to meet with the creative team of TV channel "My Planet". It includes - a composer of the film "Russian Atlantis of the North", Ufa native Marat Faizullin.

"My planet. Terre des Hommes "is Russia's largest festival dedicated to travel, which annually brings together more than 200 thousand people from all over the country. The idea of the festival is to discover the most interesting things in the culture of different countries.

The festival kicked off in Moscow, then went on a tour of Russian cities. The festival geography includes Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar and Ufa.
