New attraction appeared in Ufa amphitheatre - "Vatan" Ethnopark

UFA, 13 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa amphitheatre near Congress Hall a "Vatan" Ethnopark opened in the days of the SCO and BRICS Summits. Foreign guests got acquainted with national customs and culture of Bashkirs and the achievements of the republic in seven colourful yurts. The project has been developed over two years and is realized due to the grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the amount of 13.5 million rubles. The purpose of the project is to present a cultural potential of the republic.

Visitors can buy souvenirs, honey from local producers, national clothes and shoes, to mint commemorative coins in the yurts.

During the days of the Summits "Vatan" Ethnopark was attended by about two thousand people. Since July 15 the Ethnopark will be open to residents of Ufa and will run through the whole summer. Volunteers of the Summits will continue their work in the park. The entrance to the park is free for children and adults should pay a deposit fee, which includes a photograph, refreshments and a souvenir.
