Ufa will host Moscow "Kremlin Ballet" in the days of the SCO and BRICS Summits

UFA, 18 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Another well-known Moscow troupe will arrive in Ufa on tours during the international SCO and BRICS Summits. Recall that on July 7-11 for the first time the legendary Moscow Pyotr Fomenko Workshop Theatre will arrive in Ufa. On July 8 at the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" a gala concert of "Kremlin Ballet" theatre will take place. The art director is the chief choreographer of the theatre, People's Artist of Russia, laureate of Moscow Award, Professor Andrey Petrov.

The "Kremlin Ballet" Theatre was founded in 1990 on the initiative of the well-known choreographer, Andrey Petrov at the State Kremlin Palace - the biggest theatre and concert hall of the country. The repertoire of the theatre includes "The Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker" and "The Sleeping Beauty", "Giselle", "Le Corsaire","Don Quixote", "Romeo and Juliet", "Esmeralda", as well as its own exclusive contemporary repertoire . The theatre had more than 100 concert tours in more than 30 countries and 30 theatres in the country. The soloists and artists of the "Kremlin Ballet" are: People's Artist of Russia, winner of the Moscow Award Natalia Balahnicheva, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Timofeev, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Mikhail Martynyuk, winner of the All-Russian competition Irina Ablitsova, winners of international competitions Alice Aslanova and Zhanna Gubanova.

Note, for several years the "Kremlin Ballet" troupe participated in the Rudolf Nureyev International Festival of Ballet Art in Ufa.
