Rustem Khamitov visited "Chronicle. Bashkortostan. 25 " photo exhibition

UFA, 4 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On June 3, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the opening of the "Bashkortostan. Chronicle. 25" photo exhibition, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the international campaign "Nature. Human. Culture 2015".

The exhibition located in the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan is represented by more than 100 photos taken in the republic for a quarter of the century. Their authors are 46 famous foreign and Russian photo artists, including representatives of the SCO and BRICS countries. This is a unique photo-essay about our land, people, events, changes in life of Bashkortostan that have occurred during this time.

The Chairman of the Union of Photographers of Russia, pilot-cosmonaut, the Hero of the Russian Federation, Director of the Institute of History of Science and Technology Yuriy Baturin said that it was the Head of the Republic who was the initiator of the "Nature. Human. Culture" campaign, which celebrated a quarter-century.

Recall that the "Nature. Human. Culture" international campaign has been held in the republic since 1990. It is aimed at the development of culture and art of Bashkortostan, environmental monitoring, implementation of organized cultural tourism and ecotourism, promotion of national parks, nature reserves, natural and historical sites, conservation of folk art, traditions, rituals, objects of intangible cultural heritage, promotion of national brands of the republic, as well as positive image of Bashkortostan in the country and in the world.

In 2014, the campaign became a laureate of the National Prize of Russia in the field of Public Relations "Silver Archer" in the nomination "The best project in territorial development and promotion".

The "Nature. Human. Culture-2015 " campaign is attended by photographers from the countries of the SCO and BRICS, as well as the regions of Russia. In its framework the photo tours over Belebey, Miyaki, Davlekanovo, Bizhbulyak, Sharan, Bakaly regions and three cities of the republic - Belebey, Oktyabrsky and Tuimazy are planned. Participation in the events of the International Festival of National Cultures "Berdemlek - Commonwealth", the traditional folk festivals "Sabantuy", the photo exhibition "Bashkortostan - the Pearl of Russia" in Moscow are also included in the program.
