Bashkir media participate in the 2nd Congress of Journalists of Turkic world in Kazan

UFA, 27 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The 2nd Congress of journalists of the Turkic world is held in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, from May 26 to 29. Republic of Bashkortostan is represented at the Congress by the chief editor of "Bashkortostan Kyzy" Gulnaz Kutueva, editor and journalist Gulnara Halfitdinova, journalist of "Yuldash" radio Zuhra Arsaeva.

During the event, round tables and seminars on the role of the media in the countries of the Turkic world with exchange of practices between the participants of the Congress and Tatarstan mass media are organized. The event is attended by over 100 delegates from 22 countries, such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Syria and Moldova. Media groups from Europe - Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Great Britain, France, and the United States also arrived at the Congress.

The initiator of the event is the World Federation of Journalists of the Turkic world. The previous Congress was held in the Turkish city of Eskisehir in 2014.
